Total overhaul over the old primary bathroom. The corner shower was expanded into a new 5’ shower with a beautiful blue accent wall. Extra storage added with a linen cabinet next to the shower. New vanity, countertops, mirror, lighting, and paint.
In this project we converted a bare framed loft into a finished studio with an ensuite half bath. We had to rough plumb the bathroom for a toilet and sink. We ran new electrical for lighting in the studio area and the bathroom. We installed drywall, painted the studio area, new millwork and new LVP flooring. We also installed a new toilet and vanity with a sink as well as installing 1 exterior door and 3 interior doors. We added access by building an exterior landing and staircase for a private entrance to the studio
This project is 13 builds, which is 26 units. We hung all the drywall to include tape, mud and texture, and we painted the interior and exterior of the buildings. We installed LVP flooring in all the wet areas like the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room. We had carpet installed in the bedrooms and down the stairs.
We set all the upper and lower cabinets in the kitchen and all the vanities in the bathrooms. Countertops were all measured and installed. We installed all the interior doors, bi pass and bifold closet doors.
We installed all the door casing, baseboards and window sills. All new handrails going from the lower floor to the second floor. All new cabinet handles, door knobs, door stops, bathroom towel bars and rings.
Recon Construction is proud to partner with Habitat For Humanity’s mission to bring people together to build homes, communities and hope. Over the years we have worked with them on several projects. Below is one example of the work Recon Construction performed for a larger multi-family housing project.
Interior: Demoed sink and cabinets, removed carpet tiles, relocated some wires, patched walls. We then repainted, switched out all electrical outlets and switches with plates. Installed new flooring, new millwork using cedar fence boards and installed new cabinets.
Exterior: We replaced all the fencing surrounding the playground. We also constructed and installed a new two-part rolling gate for the large opening.

Answer:
There’s a lot of responsibility and liability that goes along with a home improvement project, and most of it rides on a general contractor. You can rely on your general contractor to be licensed and insured, and know that everyone they are working with will also be licensed and insured.
Answer: This all depends on the job, but remember you are not only paying for materials and labor, but experience and for someone who already has the right tools to do the job.
Anyone that’s ever considered a home renovation, starts with an idea of what they’d like to accomplish. This is quickly followed by two important questions:
1 How much will my remodel cost?
2 How long will my renovation take to complete?
